Latent variable modeling 3.0

July 21, 2012

Oliver Purschke pointed me to this brand new incredibly interesting paper. As he points out, this stuff has some exciting implications for some of my previous work in random effects ordination. The authors report on an R package for specifying, examining, estimating, and making inferences with an extremely wide variety of models involving latent variables. The authors have really put a lot of work into the model specification interface. Can’t wait to try it out.
